Description
The banana blossom is the edible flower of a wild species of tropical and subtropical banana known scientifically as muse acuminate. It’s said to have originated in Malaysia, after which it spread to India and Myanmar (1). Despite being a fruit, the banana flower is often cooked like a vegetable.
